Weekend Storm
ORIGINAL POST: Thursday, February 2, 2012, 3:42 p.m.
While I’m off work until Saturday, I just wanted to let you know that the weekend storm still does NOT look to be a big deal for the Mississippi and Illinois Valleys.
A rain/snow mix that will end as snow looks to be on the menu Friday afternoon until Saturday night.
Snow amounts locally will be on the light side. However, back toward Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, and Mason City, Iowa, amounts of 1-3″ are possible. Western Iowa could see more significant snows, over 4″.
I’ll be back to work Saturday evening.

Darven,
Thank you very much.
I had an amazing almost 12 years with Miss ABBA and the memories will last me a lifetime. She was such a beautiful, special, goofy golden retriever and friend.
Take care,
Anthony
