About Us: Mary Katherine's owner, Mary Curley, has been in the bridal business over 10 years.
The business began as an "idea" in 1999 and the doors opened for business in September 2000.
Mary Katherine's is a full service bridal boutique and has over 4000sq feet of space dedicated to the bride and her entourage.
There are many different style gowns in stock for our brides to choose from, carrying top names like Maggie Sottero, LaSposa, Alyce, Impression Bridal, Asoen and more.
Bridesmaids may choose fashion forward styles from our collections of Alfred Angelo, impressions and Bill Levkoff.

Mary Katherine's "Full Service" entails garment selections for the entire wedding party, careful inspection and pressing of all garments when they arrive, free storage, full alterations service and a second pressing of all garments before they leave the store.
Our full service extends to our groom and his attendants. We can provide most any color in vests and ties to match or compliment the bridesmaids as well as making sure the smallest of the men are taken care of - the ring bearer.
Our staff shares the same passion for the business. Connie Moler has been with us for 9 years. Connie had the passion before the store even opened, and has been involved in reception decorating, florals for the entire wedding party, and reception and wedding rental products for over 15 years.
Other part-time sales associates include Betsy Nymeyer (5 years) and Jessica Skay (2 years with a degree in fashion merchandising).
We also have a full service alteration department with Elaine Hoffman in charge.

1. How long does it take to get my dress once it's ordered?
Ideally, we like brides to start a year in advance of their wedding date. We do sell off the rack but special orders take 4-5 months for the gown to get here and then we need approximately 2 months for alterations.
2. My bridesmaids are all over the country...what is the best way to get the dresses so they all match in color?
It's best to order all the dresses at the same time from the same retailer. That way you will be assured that all the dresses will be cut from the same bolt of fabric. We work with brides all the time whose bridesmaids are scattered throughout the country and the world!
We will work with you and your maids to get the correct measurements so the we can choose the correct size for each.
3. Who will do my alterations? Press my dress? Store my dress?
We are a full service bridal shop and have an alterations department in our store.
Since we own our store and because of its size, we have no problem storing your dresses for you for free! We also press every gown once it arrives at our store and this is our way of inspecting each layer for flaws and once we are comfortable that it is perfect, then we call you, our bride and share with you that it has arrived and we set a time for you to come in for your first try on. The actual alteration process will begin approximately 2 months before your wedding.
4. Will we be able to match my groomsmen's vests and ties to my bridesmaids' dresses?
We carry Milroy's Tuxedos in our store and they are constantly adding new Vest and Tie selections and colors to stay on top of matching all of the new colors our bridesmaids manufacturers add to their palates.
5. How can I coordinate everything?
It's advisable to do all your wedding purchases in one shop...at Mary Katherine's everything you purchase with us is stored free of charge and all items are kept together in totes in our store so you always know what we have for you.
We keep lists of all items purchased and stored in your own personal folder. Besides providing garments for your entire wedding party, we can also do your flowers, reception decorating, invitations, linens...just about anything you need...even a minister!
